Britain calls for EU's free movement rules to be suspended - 9 March 2012

In a piece of reporting with many 'Daily Mail'-like qualities, the Times reports yet another of Thersa May's half-baked ideas: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/eu/9132205/Britain-calls-for-EUs-free-movement-rules-to-be-suspended.html

It doesn't concern the Schengen visa per se, more the free movement rights of EU nationals as anyone with a Schengen visa would still need to show their passport passing between countries. All of the advice on our website is still correct and if you have any doubts, you can contact the Embassies directly using the details on this page or speak with an Agent who can help you to make the application.
